Glenluce Road
Glenluce Road is a quiet residential street that leads down to Westcombe Park station in one direction, and towards Westcombe Park Road in the other. Close by are the shops and facilities of Blackheath Standard. As well as the nearby train station the area is well served by buses.
Originally acquired by GHS in 1967, no.12 Glenluce Road provides seven self-contained 1-bedroom flats accessed via a west facing front garden that looks onto the road. Two of the flats have their own individual external entrances with the remaining flats accessed via a shared entrance. Flats are arranged over three floors, each on a single level with those on upper floors served by an internal staircase. There is a small east facing back garden that is maintained by a gardener employed by GHS.
Towards the end of 2022 a programme of external redecorations and repairs was undertaken, with a series of works carried out to upgrade and improve each of the flats internally over several years prior to the most recent improvements.
